Hi Ronys

This is a very good piece of software, just a comment
that I
hope you would take as constructive, could Password
Safe be
made read only as default and if you want it to be read
write
you then check the write box, or is there a registry or
config
setting that can be modified, to do this already.

Also is there a function to have previous passwords
stored, at
the moment I am using the notes field for this, but if
someone
is looking over your shoulder, they can see your
previous
passwords and if your working on a number of systems
some
can get missed and they could try the old password.
Unfortunately I am not a programmer, but is there or can
there
be an option to make hide the notes filed like the
password filed.

Thanks in advance

Brian

    Hi Brian,

You can start PasswordSafe in read-only mode by calling it
with '-r' as a parameter, that is, "pwsafe -r". If you're
using a shorcut to invoke PasswordSafe, you can set the
    parameter via the shortcut's properties.

As to saving previous passwords, standby for PasswordSafe
    3.02...

    Cheers,

      Rony
