Although I almost always generate a long random password, I probably have quite a few old entries that used repeated passwords.
A tool to find them would be nice.
Use cases:
1) Say I know my account at X has been compromised, not only do I want to change my password for X, but I'd also like to know which accounts had the same password. I right-click on the entry for X and select "Find entries reusing this password". I get a list[1] of accounts that share the same password as X.
2) Say I have time to spare and I want to generate better passwords for those accounts that reuse passwords. I click on [Manage]->[Find entries that reuse passwords]. I get a list[1] of entries that reuse the password from some other entry.
Bonus: Similar but not identical passwords are found. ("hell0", "hello123", "h3llo42", "Hello2017").
[1] - A real list is not mandatory. Highlighting would work. Placing the results in the search result navigation controls would work (ie: pressing [F3] takes me to the next entry).
An easy way to do this without any changes to PWS:
1. Under the "View" menu, select "Flattened List"
2. If you already have a "Password" column, go to 5
3. else, right-click on the heading row and select "Column Picker"
4. Drag the "Password" item from the list to where you want it on the heading row. I mention this because the process is less-than-intuitive.
5.Left-click on the "Password" column to sort the entries by password
It is usually pretty easy to spot identical entries when you do this.
In my opinion, the adding/deleting columns from the flattened view could stand a rework. it works, but it is very non-intuitive and there is no Help entry for it.
