    I'm on Linux (Gentoo) using Password Safe 0.99 beta. When I try to run Password Safe, it pops up telling me Another instance of Password Safe is already running, but no other instance is currently running.

    $ pgrep -ifl pwsafe
    $

    I'm not sure what I can do to start Password Safe, any suggestions?

      Try finding a file 'pwsafe.lck' and remove it.

        This worked for me. Thanks!

    I get this also on Mint with v1.01 beta.
    Thanks for the fix with deleting the .lck

    Could be a bug, maybe, that the .lck is not deleted when pwsafe closes?
    If pwsafe is running in the background when the system shuts down ...
    could that be the cause? Just a thought

    Thanks for the great Linux versions!
