The original plan was to merge Yubikey support into the main product. This is
still what I'd like to do, but the priority of this merge is in direct
proportion to the demand I get for Yubikey, which is lower than I
hoped/expected.

I played with the fork a while ago and like the idea of using the Yubikey for
a quick re-auth in addition to the standard password for opening the safe. I
have been waiting for it to get into the mainline version as that version
(yubikey or standard) has some issues for me when running it under wine on
*nix.

Yubikey support is NOT in version 3.29. It's only in 3.29Y. This critical
fact is not stated anywhere that any one is likely to see it. Yubico links to
3.29Y but completely fails to mention that it's different from the regular
version. This has caused me a lot of frustration.

I agree, Bradley(2). I got on to this by contacting Yubico who gave me the
link to the correct (3.29Y) version. It certainly was a bit of a run around.

Rony,
I have looked through the site and the last version with Yubikey support was
3.16Y in March 2009. Is support for Yubikeys still on your roadmap?
Thank you,
Chris

If support for Yubikeys was dropped over three years ago then why are you
still linking to Yubico from the http://pwsafe.org/
page?
Er, perhaps because support for YubiKey hasn't been dropped?
Also, a Linux version with YubiKey support is under development (no release
date yet).

I'm using ver.3.29 with Yubikey and it works fine; I'd be very sorry to lose
it if Yubikey support was dropped
YubiKey is and will be supported for the foreseeable future.
Thanks ronys for your assurances re YubiKey.

I hear you, and will see what I can do to make the distinction clearer, until
the versions are merged.
Cheers,
Rony
Thank you so much.
