#896 Show Notes in Edit preference does not save
Mange, Options, Display, Show Notes in Edit preference does not save. So ticking this box and then pressing OK, and then editing a password, you will still see that the notes are not displayed until you click in there. If you go back to the preferences, you see that it was not saved.
Odd. This works for me. What version of PasswordSafe are you using, and on what platform?

I am using version 3.23 (3582) on Windows XP SP3. Note that all the other preferences I have tried changing have worked fine (including some on the same tab, like showing Notes in tooltip).
I have a similar problem that may be related. It started with 3.23 and I did not see it before. I first saw it immediately after I installed 3.23.
My databases normally have "Show Notes in Edit" set. After installing 3.23, I opened a database read/write to update an entry. I noticed that it wasn't showing notes in the entry.
I went to Manage-Options and corrected the setting. Then I went back to the entry and it was OK. When I generated a new password, I noticed that it was shorter than my policy specifies. I went to Manage-Options and saw that my policy had been reset to the default. Further investigation showed that all the options that are specific to the database had been set to default. It was as if the application had lost all the custom settings for the database.
I have noticed this problem a few times since then. I normally open my databases read-only, and I normally don't see this problem. I have noticed the problem only when I open a database read/write. It does not seem to occur every time that I open a database read/write.
Perhaps the other options that work fine for sebauriol are "global" options that are not database-specific.
