If an entry is the single one in a group and i move it
by drag and drop into the supergroup, the origin group
(which is now empty) dissappears ...

"Groups" don't really exist! They are generated from the
title of the entry using the dot as a group separator.
When the last entry with this "path" is deleted, all
information about this "pseudo-group" also is deleted.
This can be easily shown. You can generate a long group
structure just by creating one entry and entering a group
name like "a.b.c.d.e" etc. The group structure is really
only in this one entry. Delete it and the whole lot goes.
This is by design.
