#1351 Cannot Delete Group
I cannot delete group. Right click on group and then select delete group. Acknowledge message confirming delete. Nothing happens. Group remains. Group is titled "0 Shortcuts" and has no entries under it. I tried renaming group and then deleting but that didn't work. Also tried adding an entry under the group before deleting. Using V3.39.01.
Will be fixed in next release (due out in a couple of weeks).
Workaround: Drag an entry into the group to be removed, then drag it out again.
That didn't work for me.
Here's another workaround, more complicated, but will work:
1. Create a dummy entry in the subgroup,
2. Edit it and clearing the Group field in the Edit window. This will delete the group.
3. Delete the entry an usual.
Unfortunately, that is not working either. It is several nested groups now (0 shortcuts.0 shortcuts.0 shortcuts...) I tried your method starting at the lowest level group and also starting at the highest level group. Directions were straight forward so I'm sure I did as suggested. Yellow square is solid yellow on some groups and yellow outline on others.

The version that fixes this is currently in testing. You can:
1. Try it (https://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/PreReleases/3.40pre/pwsafe-3.40.0pre.exe/download )
2. Revert to 3.38.2
3. Wait for the formal release of 3.40 (probably in a caouple of weeks).
The pre-release allowed me to delete the groups. Thank you.
Confirm that on Windows 10 (x64), I can also now delete the spurious groups created by the previous version. Much gratitude.
