I have recently noticed that 0.93 version of pwsafe on linux starts very slow. I thought it takes 12-15 seconds but running strace I see that it's about 30 seconds. I'm attaching strace.

For completeness: I'm running version 0.93 on x86_64 fedora 20, built from srpm after applying the latest patch for 1150/1167. In addition, I changed tray icons (by putting color everywhere) so that they better react to clicks.

Oops, I just noticed 1169 -- the behavior I'm reporting seems to be the same. And it looks like there is a solution for 1169 that will be coming in the next release?

Thanks. The strace indeed confirms that this is the same problem as reported in 1169.
    I'm closing this as duplicate.
You can download an rpm with the fix for this from
    http://pwsafe.org/tmp/pwsafe-0.93.1BETA-3.x86_64.rpm
Please let me know if this resolves the problem.

Thanks. Because of the 1137 I prefer (for now) building from source -- I add color to transparent parts of icons and that solves 1137 for me.
So I applied commit 36e01ec to 0.93 srpm and built it myself -- problem is gone.

Fine. Care to send a patch for the icon colors?

Since my workaround is just adding color to transparent regions of the icons, the choice of color is subjective. I chose color that visually (and on my monitor) was close to the color of my taskbar (light grey). If this is fine, I can send the patch. Let me know. Should I post it on 1137 thread?
