XFCE screenshooter doesn't recognize Parcellite as a clipboard manager, and thus doesn't provide the option to copy screenshots to clipboard.
It is just weird how Parcellite is not recognized, perhaps it is broken. I checked what gdk_display_supports_clipboard_persistence does, it only checks if the selection owner of the CLIPBOARD_MANAGER atom exists.
