#156 not picking up text selection from mupdf

mupdf is a pdf viewer which allows selecting a region, in which case text within the region is copied to the old-fashioned X11 (middle button to paste) selection. (One can then copy the text to clipboard with ctrl-C). When parcellite is running, the straightforward X paste no longer works, and even if I use mupdf's ctrl-C, it still doesn't work - I just get whatever was in the clipboard before. Without parcellite, X select and paste works.
I don't understand this.. am I missing something simple in the documentation?
