#151 History menu "Clear" not working.
I'm running 1.1.9 under Gentoo. I'm surprised I never noticed this, but the "Clear" in the menu isn't doing anything at all for me. The only means of clearing history that works for me is to uncheck the save history option or to manually delete the history file. By the way: I wanted to adda comment about how parcellite's been working great for me in general on the home page, but I don't seem to have a login there, nor any way to create one(?). Thanks!
It's funny, I never noticed it either. Guess I don't clear my history much.

Thanks! On the home page thing: I was going to add a comment to the "No news is good news?" item but it requires a wordpress login (not the one I'm using here) that I don't have, and there's no means of creating one.

I'm not sure what is happening. I'm pretty sure I had the same issue, but when I built from source, my clear history works fine. Can you build from source and test it? I would greatly appreciate it if you could. It looks like I fixed in in the current source. If it is fixed, I'll cut a release.
I've never really understood the whole wordpress thing. It used to be the same as source forge, but they changed it all. I used to get tons of spam there also, so maybe it's not a bad thing.
Yup. Actually what I did as to patch my Gentoo ebuild to effectively convert it to the current source snapshot and yes, the clear all works perfectly. Thanks!
Actually, thank you. I'll close this bug and get new source released as soon as I can get to it. Should be 1.2.0.
