Hi John, I've seen the same problem and I'm quite clueless of where it comes from. On the PostScript level all I am doing is to create a path of the outline of the characters which I am then filling with the normal postscript fill command. I have searched for ghostscript commands to see if there is any parameter for blackness, but I still haven't found it... In any case, paps really should be converted to using cairo as its backend instead of postscript directly. And if the same problem then remains, then it is a cairo problem, and not my problem anymore. I started the conversion quite a while ago, but I have yet to finish it. One of these days... Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Dov 2008/5/13 john-thomas richards <jtr...@co...>: > I am using paps 0.6.8 in Debian Lenny.
