Hi Akira, I just commited a large change to paps. I kept part of your changes, but tossed out other parts. I would happily receive a few test programs to verify the functionality. By default --lpi now changes the line spacing only. But by the flag --stretch-chars you can change the scaling in the y-direction as you had before. But in contrast to before, lpi never effects the font size in the x-direction. I really doubt that anybody really used these options of texttops, as I think they are aesthetically and logically broken. Sometimes we have to break away old bugs and misfeatures... I also added an option to interpret the input file as pango markup. I think this is the path to take in order to get syntax highlightening. We should add pango markup output to e.g. GNU highlight. There is no support for color markup though, but there will be once I move away from libpaps to cairo. Regards, Dov |
