Do you really want to know? PantherEngine is now VS2010 certified! We'll certified is a bit strong since I'm the only one doing the certification. It builds and runs the movecyl game through Led. I tested content import and export and went through a mini dev cycle with the movecyl game to make sure it seemed to work. I'm sure there are more bugs, but the basics work. What a ton of work that was. I can't even begin to describe the number of changes. I did it in stages so hopefully my git comments are helpful. I'm going to mark the Trac issue for vs2010 as resolved. Chris, feel free to make the changes you are assigned to. We can work out the details if you want to do pge stuff instead of the regular assignments. I'm pretty sure that Jeff is going to do some XNua work for the class so that's pretty cool. I discussed it with him last week, but he hasn't signed up as a developer yet so maybe he was overwhelmed. I would be. Anyway, that's a pretty big hurdle. Things we need to look out for. JigLibX is not fully 2010/XNA4. I had to make some changes to their project to get it to build. Hopefully they come out with an official 2010 version soon and we can replace my hack. The same thing goes for XNAnimation. Both projects said they were working on a VS2010/XNA4 version. Wood |
