I have noticed that all asynchronous requests from IE do not produce logging in Pagetest, which limits Pagetest's usability, given that more and more web apps are using AJAX.
We should rephrase this probably to mean, "provide an option to keep Pagetest running after the browser has fully loaded the page". Pagetest currently tracks Ajax request, just not after the page has loaded.

It depends on what you are trying to do. I'll see about coming up with a cleaner way to keep measuring until told to stop instead of automatically stopping but if there is a paprticular operation you'd like to record/measure just select file->new from the menu and it will kick off a new session and record the Ajax activity.
