tarball has strange contents

Hi, it's me again :-)
The tarball available from sourceforge has some strange
contents:
* the main directory created by the extraction is not
named after the tarball file, which is not standard
* this same directory has a name with spaces inside,
which is generally frowned upon
* the tarball contains backup files, which would tend
to prove that you use emacs to edit code
* there is a PadPaper.tar.gz inside the tarball, which
means that it is basically twice as big as necessary

I agree.... which makes it confusing to use - because you
wonder what you're supposed to be doing with all these extra
files :-)
Having said that - the actual program has a lovely feel for a
Tk program - if you work on a *few* extra features
(extended search dialog, undo etc) then it will be a lovely
text editor... particularly as a module for other people to
include in their own programs.
