There were some minor display issues which are fixed now, e.g. with scrolling and the jstroke definitions. Now there's only one extremely minor problem left in the definition screen: When in landscape mode and extracting the T3 from 320x320 to 450x320, the now unused region still shows the old content. When activating DIA and deactivating it again, the display looks clean again. But this is nothing you should throw too much time on. Hotlist editing works better now. There is still room for small improvements (some of the things mentioned in my previous email), but the current interface is usable without problems. Other (minor) issues, already appearing in older versions, too: - In single result view: When scrolling down with the right one of the two scroll bars (the kana/kanji display), then switching to the next result, the first kana/kanji char gets scrolled off the display without the scroll bar reflecting this. Example: Result 1/19907 "assari", the kana column shows "A-tsu-Sa-Ri", now scrolling down, it shows "tsu-Sa-Ri" (correct) Now switch to the next entry: 2/19907 "acchi", the kana column shows "tsu-Chi" instead of "A-tsu-Chi". - One could argue that scrolling down for short kana/kanji words should not be possible so one can see that he has to scroll down to see the full word by just looking at the scroll bar. - Some Kana->Romaji translations are strange for me, though I don't know if it's my lack of knowledge or a bug in PAdict, e.g.: hiragana "U-tsu-Ka-Ri" is written as "ukari" instead of "ukkari" (which I'd expected). And the third hit in the public dict when searching for the english "eve" reads katakana I-U with the U having a dakuten marker. Wikipedia says this reads "vu" (according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katakana), but PAdict shows nothing here. I think I've seen more cases like this in the past, but I don't know if you like to add these "modern additions" to PAdict. Thomas -- Email: th...@in... http://intevation.de/~thomas/ |
