The reliance on Java 1.6 precludes support for older macs (specifically 32bit intel core-duo's, first generation macbook pro's). Please consider using Java 1.5.

We are currently in the process of deciding whether if we can have compability for Java 1.5. If we decide we are able to have compability with Java 1.5, the changes will likely to be seen in the next release of PackJacket, which will be version 0.4. We would inform you of our decision by posting in all bug reports, which asked about this, and also put it in our news section. This post has also been changed to the feature request section, due to this is a request and not a bug in PackJacket.
