Hi all, I am busy testing out a new PF installation, and I'm getting some contradictory behaviour: Mar 3 18:24:18 rachel pf: db_connect(0): Connecting 0 from 0 db connection is DEAD (re)connecting Mar 3 18:24:18 rachel pf: ip2mac(0): could not resolve 172.16.254.59 to mac Mar 3 18:24:18 rachel pf: valid_mac(0): invalid MAC: 0 Mar 3 18:24:18 rachel pf: redir.cgi(0): 172.16.254.59 not resolvable, generating error page The error message "could not resolve 172.16.254.59" is incorrect, as the machine can resolve this mac address without any hassle: [root@rachel ~]# arp 172.16.254.59 Address HWtype HWaddress Flags Mask Iface 172.16.254.59.internal. ether 00:0A:95:80:E6:A6 C eth2 Looking at the previous message "Connecting 0 from 0 db connection is DEAD (re)connecting", this message appears before every attempt at arp resolution, no idea why. Sniffing the database connection shows packetfence successfully having a conversation of some kind with the mysql database. No other errors are logged. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?
