Hi Enrico,

We have our Packetfence server authenticating against an Active Directory domain. If the user is found in Active Directory, then the switch port is configured for a vlan based on the users AD group OU. We use both old powerconnect and n-series Dell switches as well as Cisco 2960X.

packetfence is very configurable and can allow use various authentication backends.
What do you think is the best one to record the mac address and its vlan ?
