Hi Olivier, Thanks for the kickstart :-) Introducing myself.. My name is João, I'm a PhD student from Brazil. I've participated a few on GSoC before, and I'm sure that this is going to be a lot of fun once again :-) My project consists in supporting nmap as a scanner engine on PacketFence! So far I've PacketFence Zen installed on a Virtual Machine. Will it be enough or do you suggest a different installation? When I was giving a deeper look on the source code, I've been working on it and generating patches against a repository. If you consider a different method more efficient, just say the word! Just in case, here in Brazil we have different semester Schedule's, since we are entering winter now. Anyway I'm already able to start working on my assigned tasks and I intend to do it soon. As We don't have summer vacation here, I'll need to attend on some university's appointments during the week, but I know my duties and I'm ready to work during weekends when necessary. Anyway, this never was a huge problem on past GSoCs. I'm sure it won't be a problem agains this year. Good luck to everyone!
