Is the -v command-line option missing from p7zip? I'm trying to back up something to multiple DVDs, and wanted to create volume archives, but every time I use -v option, 7za reports System error: E_NOTIMPL.
I'm using p7zip 4.42 on Gentoo Linux AMD64.

p7zip shall support -v.
What is your command ?
I have tried : 7za a -v1m archive.7z directory
with success
-v1m : volume of 1 mega Bytes
