Hei Rajesh
first of all thanks for your
great p4 integration into emacs,
I am using it now for half a year in
my daily development work.
I would have one suggestion for an
upcoming release.
Support of multiple opened change
lists.
The following use scenario always forces my back to the
native P4 user
interface on Windows.
You work
concurrently on several jobs and you open for each job a
change
list.
When I am finished with one job I only want to
submit its change list.
In the p4 integration an opened file
always ends up in the default change
list and
submitting
always tries to submit all opened files.
But
may be I am simply not aware of the corresponding commands to
move
opened files
selectively from the default change list to
another pending change list and
submit
selectively
pending change list different from the default
change list.
Regards
Georg Lenz

The various p4 commands recognize the prefix argument as an indicator that they should prompt you for arguments. Using that, you could insert -c nnnn to specify the applicable changelist number.
