Hi,
I would be more functional if I can edit a file the
repository. Additionally, the submit and revert functions
would also be very useful.

Huh? You want to do direct file edits on a file in the
repository? This strikes me as fundamentally opposed to the
Perforce model? Given that you can submit and revert files,
I'm not sure I understand this request at all.

Or do you mean that "Open for Edit" should be menu choice in
the Depot view?
