#109 Cannot edit files after submit

I am reporting this against p4eclipse 0.6.24 and Eclipse
3.0 M8. However, the bug also exists in some earlier
versions of p4eclipse using older Eclipse 3.0 milestones.
I am not sure when exactly this bug was introduced.

The problem is that after submitting a changelist
containing files that are currently open in an editor, it is
no longer possible to edit those files. The files are
marked as read-only and the label decorations are
correct. However, when you try to edit the file, nothing
happens.

The only workaround I know of is either closing and
reopening the affected editors or restarting Eclipse.

This is actually a bug in Eclipse itself in the Team support. I
thought there was an open bug in the Eclipse database, but
I've not been able to find it.

I don't know if you are referring to the same Eclipse bug as
mentioned in p4eclipse issue #659379. Please note that it is
    NOT the same problem.

Also, I am pretty sure that submitting files did not have this
unfortunate effect in an earlier release of either p4eclipse or
Eclipse. So I believe this is a regression (either in p4eclipse or
    in Eclipse).

I have seen similar behavior in 0.6.2 with eclipse M7 (the same applies
to other pre eclipse M8 versions.)
However I am able to do an explicit Team>Open for edit on the file. Only
the automatic "on edit" opening doesn't work.
