Dear Chuming: What I mean is to just add a simple line as: <owl:Class rdf:ID="Class_1"/> into my OWL file, with no extra data. Using PROTEGE, it is very easy. Although PROTEGE displays all class as the subclass of thing in its class tree, but it never add any axiom about "Thing" into the OWL file, I can even not find the word "Thing" from the OWL file edited by PROTEGE. I thing OWLAPI should be able to acchieve the same result in some way, but still not find it out. I have tried to assert Class_1 as subclass of OWLThing, apply the change, then both the Thing and Class_1 appear in my OWL file, then I delete the subclass axiom and apply change, and both of them dispear. |
