Hi all, I’ve just lost a couple of days troubleshooting this… I’ve been using a BeagleBone Black with a DS2482-800 for years without any issues to control my greenhouse. Recently, I decided to upgrade and switched to three DS2482-800s on a Raspberry Pi. At first, everything seemed fine—the devices and sensors were detected. However, from time to time, the DS2482-800 and the connected devices would disappear. After some digging, I found the cause: I had also connected a SATA/USB disk to the Raspberry Pi for storage. Somehow, the disk interferes with the I²C interface. When running |i2cdetect -y -r 1|, the I²C addresses occasionally disappear. Has anyone experienced something similar? It doesn’t seem to be a 1-Wire issue, but rather a Raspberry Pi flaw. Thanks, Nico -- 0623391101 |
