After a stagnant period due to other priorities, the development of this project is continued with relative haste.

I just conducted the first real test of OverSight(OS) on hardware. Up until now I've been using bochs to run the system. I used my laptop.

The test was an average success. Average because I spotted two issues that concern me:

1) My keyboard, a pretty Standard US one, has a key right next to left shift yielding "<"/">". The problem is that I can't find its scancode in order to add it to the keyboard driver! Guess I have to do more research...... read more
