      Hellooooo?   Yep, there's definitely an echo in here.

      Actually, OPT have a very active group of users, and a great developer who did a fantastic job on the OPT Max version (after we developed the original.)

        Speaking of developing.  When is 2.0 supposed to come out?

          Good question.  I can say that the 2.0 version is unlikely to be released this year.

          Reason for this is we are focusing all our development efforts on Event Horizon, our comprehensive security monitoring software, which includes OPT, DMO and many other features.

          In the meantime, I recommend OPT Max -- it's a great fork, and we're planning to use it ourselves.

          We have plans for OPT 2.0, and have built the security components, but due to customer requirements are now focusing on other aspects which will take time to release as open source.
