[Osw-users] win: where is System.mak?

Hi,

I tried to compile a CVS checkout on windows with MinGW/MSYS. There is 
no System.mak in the osw/src/win directory and make complains about this...

BTW, is it possible to use TCL 8.4 instead of 8.2?

System.mak is now auto-generated by the utility oswconfig.exe located in the
osw/src/win directory
I'm now sure how well things will work with mingw at the moment.  I've made
a lot of changes to the Windows build system, including removing the
dependency on STLport.

oswconfig.exe needs mscoree.dll, which is not installed by default on 
windows2000. after downloading and putting it in winnt/system i get 
another error message, it seems i have to install .NET just to get a 
System.mak. at this point i gave up and i will wait for a binary package.

it would be nice to have the possibility tocompile osw with MinGW/MSYS 
or Dev-C++ or at least to compile the externals with a free compiler on 
windows.

but i can wait for a binary...
