Hi Anton- That's a new one, actually. I'm guessing it might be a bug in the installer on the alternate path (D:\Programs...), or a corrupt image - the latter is the only thing I can think of that would lead to the 16-bit error message. itcl82 is pretty darn stale, I'd like to get rid of it. Anyone have OSW working w/ Active State Tcl on Windows? -Amar > Hi, > > This is my first attempt to install OSW, > and during the install, just after the dialog > asking whether to install Tcl or not, I got this > error message: > > Can't run 16-bit Windows program > > Cannot find file D:\Programs\OpenSoundWorld\itcl82.exe (or one of its > components). > Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required > libraries are available. > > Examining the directory shows this file exists briefly. > When I grab it and run it myself I get the same error. > > Could anyone recommend a way to diagnose what's preventing the > file from running ? > > Regards, > > Anton. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Take Surveys.
