[Osw-users] QSW 1.2.7 and Ubuntu

Well, I'm trying to set up OSW again. I have yet to get it working. 
Planet CCRMA/Fedora Core 3 was my last failed attempt. This time the 
target is Ubuntu Linux. That means RPMs are foreign animals.

Should I just try to use alien on the binary RPM and hope for the best? 
Any reason to prefer building from sources? Is there really no tarball?

Has anyone else tried to get OSW up on a Debian-based distribution?
