[Osw-users] alsa distortions

hello,

now i get some sound when using the alsa driver, but the audio is very 
distorted (tested with  a Sinewave transform). as always my sound card 
is a RME Digi96/8 with a DAT machine connected to the S/PDIF out as DAC.

btw, could you disable OSS mode or make it optional as long as it 
freezes linux? i wrote a bug report about installing osw and now it's 
gone, because of a crashed machine.
