[Osst-users] Question about the driver of Onstream sc30/50

Hi,everyone:
I don't understand why the Onstream SC30/50 cannot be
drivened by standard st driver under linux.Why write a
driver for the special tape target Onstream SC30/50
seperatily? Are there special architecture for the
Onstream scsi family tape?
Do the Onstream SC30/50 supported by Solaris? Can the
Solaris standard st driver driven the Onstream
sc30/50?
If not,Are there any plan to develop a driver for
Onstream sc30/50 on Solaris?
