[OSS Proxy] Lots of defunct processes

After using my laptop for a few hours I checked ps and found dozens of 
[ossp-padsp] <defunct>. Also is seems to spawn an extra ossp-padsp
every time I start an app that uses osspd.

Is there a way to avoid this happening?
