[OSSIM] Question on nitf/projections

I have a nitf file which if I do a

Image_info ­p xxx.ntf

Tells me the file is in Bilinear projection.

When I look at the view menu item in imagelinker it shows up as
equdistcylindrical.  Is imagelinker re-projecting it, or is there something
flaky in the file that is causing image_info to return bad results?
