Roa, =20 You will need to add your filter to a factory if you want to use any of the core applications like orthoigen, igen, imagelinker with your filter. In your filter you will also need load/saveState methods. =20 I saw Norman's mail. =20 =20 There is another good example of doing a filter plugin in the "ossim_plugins" module under the "contrib." directory.=20 =20 Dave =20 =20 ________________________________ From: Roa [mailto:pen...@gm...]=20 Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 10:35 PM To: Burken, David @ LINKABIT; oss...@li... Subject: Re: [help]how to connect output ImageData to ImageWriter? =20 Dave,=20 thank you for your help. I create a filter based on ossimImageFilter and do operation on pixels. The steps=20 are introduced in document, Writing Your Own simple Image Processing Filter, prepared by Garrett . em..., another question. Is it necessary to add filter to the factory?=20 =20 cheers, =20 Roa =20 2008/1/23, dav...@l-... <dav...@l-...>:=20 Roa, =20 I think what you want to do is right a filter if you want to do something to the pixel data. So you would connect like this. Image_handler->your_filter->image_writer. =20 Your_filter will implement a getTile() method. Then the writer will sequence through the area of interest. =20 Look at one of the filters in ossim/src/ossim/imaging like ossimBrightnessContrastSource for an example. =20 Dave |
