There is a similar but more advanced product called Code::Blocks. Because of that, development of this product is halted and we are going to give our support for that project. http://www.codeblocks.org/

OSS Development Studio is a C/C++ programming IDE which will have some major open source window- graphic- and sound libraries bundled under it. The IDE should also be easy for beginners to use, but also advanced enough for professional programmers.

In version 0.2.0, syntax coloring can now be edited via external syntax file. Colors can be changed and additional syntax keywords can be added. Changes in include files are now detected automatically. We also replaced the old compiler output area with new one. Selecting and copying text is now possible, Find In Files search results go to another tab in the output area. Find dialog settings, window size, open files in project and many other things are now saved and remembered when program is restarted. ... read more

This is our first release, but it is already a working version. You can already create and manipulate projects with it. It also has project tree with file view, editor with basic functionality and syntax-coloring, find & replace functionality and you can even compile the program itself with it. It is still missing debugger and many other tools and it hasn't been tested properly yet. Feel free to try it out and give us some feedback.... read more
