When downloading the new version, the configuration file is not overwritten - which is what I like about Osmo. However, it appears that this fact prevents the patch being applied. To test my hypothesis, I uninstalled Osmo, and then copied .osmo (the hidden folder in the Home directory) to another disk.Downloaded and installed v0.2.4.2, launched it and found that the writable icon in Contacts accepted keystrokes. I then copied .osmo from the other disk to v0.2.4.2 and found that trying to type into the Contacts writable icon caused Osmo to crash. In other words, the patch was not being applied. Yet again, I am at a complete loss ;-( Zed I then copied over -- zed |
