#1 gcc 3.2 support

This patch _should_ fix some problems experienced while
compiling oslib applications with gcc 3.2 - see
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=703505&group_id=14468&atid=114468
The patch _should_ work with all the supported
compilers (and even with the "infamous" gcc 2.96 ;),
but it has not been tested too much... Please, test it,
and report the results on the mailing list.
