The reason is that OSG now has good support for GLSL directly within the library core, so there is no valid reason to keep osgNVSlang there. My plans are to drop osgNVSlang and improve bindings between osgNV and the OSG core so that Cg shaders created by osgNV can be easily mixed (and their parameters easily shared) with GLSL shaders defined in OSG.
