#254 Date Error (Journal entry window) - Win7Pro 64Bit

** SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN: 4-0-0-719

REPRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT: Win7 Pro SP1 64bit 6Gb ram

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: New install/New set of books, when trying to enter opening balances via General Journal batch entry (as suggested in online help), manual entry of date or use of the GUI picker results in an incorrect date. (Selection of Dec 31, 2011 on GUI - gives 03/12/11 in date field). Also if computer is changed from DD/MM/YY format, osF crashes when trying to select a date or it shows 1899 as the year.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I am sorry I don't know what you are looking for in some of the above sections, this is my first bug report on this software. I also tried to find the English forum on the osFinancial$ website but was unable to locate it. Also the e-mail page would not accept my e-mail address, so am reporting the bug here..

Please select regional settings and set your date formats to a other country.
Then press apply and reset it to your country.
Press apply again and start osFinancials. This should fix the date problem.
