[Osalp-dev] Solaris mpg now works

The final changes have been checked in for the mpg
modules under Solaris.

Darrick suggested a release 0.7.1 beta and I think that
is a good idea. I am asking all developers to not checkin
any new functionality until the release cycle is done. This
should last 1-2 weeks. Only bug fixes should be checked in.
I will be testing the release and writing any documentation
that needs to be updated.
