[Osalp-dev] OSALP -> OS X -> convert MP3 to WAV

Hi All,

I am interested in this project from a usage standpoint and also a  
contribution standpoint.

Can OSALP run on OS X?

With OSALP, can I take a .mp3, clip out 10 seconds (specifying a start  
time and a duration or end time) and write just that 10 second piece  
as a wav so I can use LAME to reencode as a new .mp3?

Can OSALP replace what I would use LAME for?

Thoughts are appreciated.
