Maybe. You need to have IPv4 profiles enabled on the server side,
otherwise the IOR will only contain a reference that's useful for
clients on the same machine.
"echo ORBIIOPIPv4=3D1 >> /etc/orbitrc"
or
"echo ORBIIOPIPv4=3D1 >> ~/.orbitrc"
or
"./server --ORBIIOPIPv4=3D1 --otherargs whatever"
You can use "ior-decode" to decode the IOR the server gives you into
something more human-legible.
