It's the right mailing list, but I haven't had a chance to look at the
problem yet.

As far as I can tell, it's a bug in the IDL compiler. There are quite a
few bugs in the IDL compiler. I think it needs a fair bit of work, but
don't have the time to do all of that work myself.
