This has a collection of utilities and mainly a big batch to automatically
optimize and disable a huge amount of settings (mainly Scheduled Tasks and
Services) for Windows XP or later.
Install:
Decompress to a folder: 7.exe, 7z.dll, OptimWinInst.BAT, UT1.ZIP and [UT2.7z]
Execute OptimWinInst.bat (some browsers deletes ".bat" extension, please rename)
Batch will install to C:\UT and ask to launch:
C:\UT\OptimWin.bat ALL
Features
- Can do individual tasks or all and exclude any tasks
- Automatically ask for Administrator rights
- Move TEMP folder to D:\TEMP (if possible) or C:\TEMP
- Add c:\UT to path
- Add Direct Accesss to utilities (total commnder) to Start Menu and Desktop

- 03 Add Textpad settings to registry
- 04 Enter User settings to registry:
- 04a various speedup settings
- 04b international settings should be adapted to your country
- 04c win10 prevent to reset file extension associations
- 04d show extensions, ask to delete, disable visual effects
- 05 Enter Machine settings to registry:
- 05a defaults for new users to speed settings
- 05b MS antivirus exclusions
- 05c remove autorun of a list of unnecessary programs
- 05d run as admin for some programs
- 05e disable telemetry, speedup settings
- 05f webcam patch fix, sysinternals defaults
- 06 Add Chrome cache size limit and place it on \CACHE\CHROME
- 07 Firefox settings: Cache to \CACHE limit its size, disable telemetry
- 08 Add Hosts redirection of telemetry/ malaware sites
- 71 Disable HUGE list of unnecessary Scheduled Tasks
- 72 Don't suspend when closing tray in notebooks
- 73 Add Take Ownership of all folder's content to Right Click menu
- 74 reduce winEvent LOGs (recomended option: 2)
- 75 NTFS optimizations - FSUTIL
- 76 antiVir exclusions, enable sysRestore
- 77 set sysRestore size 4Gb, disable bootlog
- 81 Enable F8 boot menu for win8 or later (as in XP); ControlPanel to StartMenu
- 82 Disable SleepStudy LOGs
- 83 PowerShell Windows10SysPrepDebloater
- 91 Disable/Manual start of unnecessary services
- 92 Delete: Temp, Caches, Errors, Logs, Updates, 8:no IndexSvc (recommended: 3)
- 99 Reinit Explorer.exe
