Hi Dave, I'm working on qt-grapher now, and have just fixed all bugs related with scaling. It is finished with minimum of functionality. Look into cvs. I'm switching to work on gui-1.0 now (also, qt-grapher needs additional functionality, but it can wait). -- Best regards, Fedor |

Hello! I've deleted all inactive people (though only 10 days've passed, I cannot wait any more). If anybody wants to get back, it isn't a problem! -- Best regards, Fedor |

You misunderstood me. I only wanted to say, that I can assign you a task, but I don't know what task you want. i'm still waiting for this. I've added few tasks to libbattle subproject (without detailed descriptions= , because it is hard to give them now). As for me, I'll work on exchanging glut code (to Qt, I think), and I'm planning to finish it by the end of this month. /* You still can join me in working on this issue, because I don't know Qt yet. */ On 2/10/06, rob...@si... <rob...@si...> wrote: > > hi, i will give you a reply todayand take up a subproject. i was in fact > waiting for your reply as you were saying that you would assign me a > task yourself. i am in fact waiting to start. > > -- Best regards, Fedor |

Hello all! My work on tasklist has brought first result. GUI tasklist for gui-1.0 available -- in [docs]. It is draft, but I won't have time for 'buxfixing' it, so please write comments and I'll make changes. Also I'll start insreting tasks into taskmanager on Monday. I ask everybody who want to work on gui, to choose one or few tasks and send me about it: I'll assign them to you. All tasks will be in taskmanager, even not assigned. Also I'm waiting for discussion of tasks and suggesting others which I have fogot. -- Best regards, Fedor |

Hello all, I'm working on different documents now: "What is Opsmodelling", "FAQ", "Roles" and "Task list"(for each subproject). They will be needed for website too. Though it isn't very good releasing drafts, I desided to do this -- maybe I'll be able to improve it, and you'll get it much earlier. Also it is internal documents for improving our work, so I hope you'll give me an excuse for mistakes, bad style and not excellent content ;). I've finished "What is Opsmodelling" by now. See it in docmanager: http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=3D30896&group_id=3D8998= 7 -- Best regards, Fedor |

I agree with you that the descriptions are vague. I cannot write them clearer now. My fault. I'm working on this issue (and on creating and assigning tasks). I hope I'll write something like checklist soon. About task that would suit you. I don't now your interests, but there are following possibilities: 1. I'm not excellent at math now (from my point of view, and for the task we are solving). I need people who know math better than me. Look into my math paper. It is awful, I think, for math standards. It is physical in nature(because I'm physicist :) -- and I want to make it more rigorous. I have some ideas about this (taken from plasma physics I'm studying now). Also look here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3D1368846&forum_id=3D30971= 6 I've got too few comments on this issue. Math related to the software Opsmodelling are numerical methods. So maybe you'll be interested in writing stable schemes for generalized Lanchester equations. 2. Graphics. We need a plotter. Maybe you have good one? I've written simple plotter (libgrapher), and it needs improvements, including support of drawing 2d surfaces. 3. gui 4. Visualisation of battle. We are too far from this now, because more simple things haven't been done yet, but this is really interesting work for OpenGL, I think (especially if it would be 3d). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Krieger" <dkr...@di...> To: ops...@li... That's a great idea. We can all learn together. Centralizing such information is a vital part of project management. I've been watching these mailing lists for a while trying to decide what needs work. I've got a heavy background in mathematics and have been doing OpenGL programming in excess of 3 years. The descriptions of the projects are pretty vague, any task you need done that you think would suit me well? As much detail as possible for the task would be nice, does make things a lot easier to do when a checklist is available. -Dan Fedor Lyakhov wrote: >Yes, I can explain. Yes, I can explain. I have said all general information, I think. Ask me please what isn't clear for you, and I'll write all details :) We are to create a simple working website for our project. After that we can improve it. Hi all Please contact me and I'll assign you task you want to do. If you don't contact me on this issue, I'll maybe assign you current high priority task (of your desired sub project). Tasks could be found only in our conversation (i.e. forum, this list and email). After this all tasks that I see now will be assigned. Best regards, Fedor P.S. I haven't used this system before, but I think it would be useful. I'll maybe make some mistakes, sorry in advance. |

Two things -- 1. I have no free time right now. 2. Nobody has free time or will power to do something. I don't know how to change this situation. I'll work on some current tasks by myself soon, but... Do you have any ideas? P.S. Actually I get messages from few people from time to time, but no source code :( Best regards, Fedor On 11/23/05, Daryl Lee <dl...@al...> wrote: > > Fedor: > > I've been watching the forums and email lists and see no sign of > activity on the Opsmodelling project. Hello everybody I want to notify you that I'm changing my email address now (ly...@li... to this one, fed...@gm...). I'm still reading mail sent to the old address, but please avoid sending any mail to there. You'd rather use ly...@us... address because it'll be always targeting to my current email address. Best regards, Fedor |
