I agree with you that the descriptions are vague. I cannot write them clearer now. My fault. I'm working on this issue (and on creating and assigning tasks). I hope I'll write something like checklist soon. About task that would suit you. I don't now your interests, but there are following possibilities: 1. I'm not excellent at math now (from my point of view, and for the task we are solving). I need people who know math better than me. Look into my math paper. It is awful, I think, for math standards. It is physical in nature(because I'm physicist :) -- and I want to make it more rigorous. I have some ideas about this (taken from plasma physics I'm studying now). Also look here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3D1368846&forum_id=3D30971= 6 I've got too few comments on this issue. Math related to the software Opsmodelling are numerical methods. So maybe you'll be interested in writing stable schemes for generalized Lanchester equations. 2. Graphics. We need a plotter. Maybe you have good one? I've written simple plotter (libgrapher), and it needs improvements, including support of drawing 2d surfaces. 3. gui 4. Visualisation of battle. We are too far from this now, because more simple things haven't been done yet, but this is really interesting work for OpenGL, I think (especially if it would be 3d). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Krieger" <dkr...@di...> To: ops...@li...
