hi, I've used the opcontrol and opfiled to generate a log on my ARM board. And I want to analysis this log on my host x86 machine. Suppose my log got from ARM board is under folder "sample/" .I've already used "opimport -a sample/abi xxx" to convert the log to my host binary format. Then I use "opreport -l --session-dir xxx --root xxx" to generate report. "--root xxx" specify the path which contains all my arm binary files on ARM board. However, I find the result generated like this: 197 0.1548 cg /bin/cg 127036 99.8452 cg /bin/cg 84590 42.5084 libc-2.3.2.so /lib/libc-2.3.2.so 84590 66.4838 libc-2.3.2.so /lib/libc-2.3.2.so 39169 30.7850 libc-2.3.2.so /lib/libc-2.3.2.s 3475 2.7312 libc-2.3.2.so /lib/libc-2.3.2.s the symbol column shows the binary path not the symbol of binary. I don't know the reason for that. Could I use opreport that way? or opreport couldn't read arm binary files correctly? My oprofile version is 0.9.4 Thanks! |
